kcalI have made this meatloaf dozens of times, it is a staple in our home. I sure hope it makes its way to your dinner table as well! Enjoy!
Ingredients
- 1 lb Holston Beef Co. Ground Beef
- 1 lb Holston Beef Co. Ground Pork Sausage
- 3/4 cup oats
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 1 egg
- Seasoning of your choice (I use Salt, pepper & my steak seasoning)
- 3 tbsp Ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/3 cup Barbecue Sauce
- Dash of Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp Mustard (Yellow or Dijon)
Directions
- Begin by letting your beef and sausage warm to almost room temperature, I find it mixes easier this way.
- Combine meat, oats, bread crumbs, egg and seasoning in a large bowl. You want all the ingredients distributed evenly, but try not to over mix!
- Press meat mixture by hand into a casserole dish or 2 loaf pans.
- Mix Ketchup, brown sugar, barbecue sauce, worcestershire sauce and mustard together and spread on top of meat mixture.
- Bake in 350 degree oven for about an hour or until meat temperature is 160 degrees.
