I have made this meatloaf dozens of times, it is a staple in our home. I sure hope it makes its way to your dinner table as well! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Holston Beef Co. Ground Beef

  • 1 lb Holston Beef Co. Ground Pork Sausage

  • 3/4 cup oats

  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs

  • 1 egg

  • Seasoning of your choice (I use Salt, pepper & my steak seasoning)

  • 3 tbsp Ketchup

  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

  • 1/3 cup Barbecue Sauce

  • Dash of Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 tbsp Mustard (Yellow or Dijon)

Directions

  • Begin by letting your beef and sausage warm to almost room temperature, I find it mixes easier this way.
  • Combine meat, oats, bread crumbs, egg and seasoning in a large bowl. You want all the ingredients distributed evenly, but try not to over mix!
  • Press meat mixture by hand into a casserole dish or 2 loaf pans.
  • Mix Ketchup, brown sugar, barbecue sauce, worcestershire sauce and mustard together and spread on top of meat mixture.
  • Bake in 350 degree oven for about an hour or until meat temperature is 160 degrees.
