We were lucky enough to stumble across this great beef company while we were at the Kingsport Farmers market this past Wednesday. We started with the filet medallions for dinner last night which were melt in your mouth delicious! We are looking forward to diving into the rest of the meat we bought from this very nice young man who was very informative and educational about the different cuts of meat. I recently purchased a variety of meats from Holston Beef Company… So far I have had the beef ribeyes and the thick cut pork chops… They were both outstanding! I’m certainly looking forward to trying the Bison and Lamb Chops… I have never tried the latter two meats before and the folks at Holston gave me some great tips on preparation and cooking the bison steaks and lamb chops… Just a side note… It was so refreshing to purchase cuts of meats that were obviously prepared by a professional butcher, and not some dude that can only run a ban saw and knows nothing about the cuts to make… Give Holston Beef products a try… You’ll be glad you did!
